Indians defense roughs up Durango 48-9

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Cheyenne Mountain High School defense proved too much for Durango to overcome as the Indians defeated the Demons 48-9 Friday night.
Shutout for the first 20 minutes of play, sophomore quarterback Hayden Sill connected with running back Jalon Malone on a 4th and 8 to begin the Demons first first scoring drive. Malone scrambled on a 3rd and 10 to put the team in range for a field goal.
But with less than two minutes until halftime, senior quarterback Alex Snyder connected on four consecutive passes to lead the Indians on a touchdown drive. His final pass hit senior running back Sharell Bell in stride on a 33 yard strike.
