Impact the arts scene in Pikes Peak Region

The Arts Commission of the Pikes Peak Region reviews and makes recommendations to the Colorado Springs City Council and El Paso County Commission regarding issues of public art. Their goal is to promote the inclusion of art in everyday life and the value of what artistic thinking can contribute to the community.
The Art Commission meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
The Commission has four openings:
· Two professional visual artists
· One citizen representative
· One higher education art professional
