The flakes are flying and with temperatures dropping, it's getting icy in Colorado Springs-- so icy that as of 8:30 PM, police moved to 'cold reporting status'. Translation: if you're in an accident with no drugs, alcohol, or injuries, you have 72 hours to report it to police.

A lot of people thought they were out of the woods after the storm Tuesday morning, but it looks like it's back for round 2. People we talked to say they'll be leaving extra early for work Wednesday morning to avoid the mess they encountered on Tuesday, and that's exactly what road crews say is the best way to beat the conditions.

Snow plows have been on the roads since 7:30 PM Tuesday working to keep the commute clear, but residential roads are the last priority since they carry the least amount of traffic. Officials say to be especially aware on the drive home.
