Icy road contributes to Pueblo accident

A young Pueblo woman was seriously injured in a one car accident in Pueblo Tuesday morning at Joplin and Portland.
Candace Bowers, 22, was travelling east on Joplin when she lost control and slid off the road into a piece of construction equipment. just after 8 a.m.
According to Pueblo Police she was transported to Parkview Hospital where she is being treated for multiple life threatening injuries. It is believed that icy road conditions may be a factor in the crash.
