I-70 closed by 40 car pile-up

I-70 is closed near Vail because of a 40-car pile-up in near-white-out conditions.

At least six people were injured, one seriously, in the series of crashes.

A bus has been sent from Vail to pick-up 25-35 drivers because their vehicles are so badly damaged that they're not drivable.

Traffic is being routed to Highway 6 at Newcastle.  Delays of several hours expected.

The chain law is also in effect on Monarch Pass due to heavy snow.
