I-25 northbound lanes now open

All lanes of I-25 are open right now. Colorado Department of Transportation says there are numerous accidents at mile marker 165, about five miles north of Monument.
The closure began at 4:37 a.m. and continued for about one hour. Roads are still in bad condition, much of I-25 in El Paso county is slushy or icy.
