Two people are dead after a roll-over accident, closing traffic, early Saturday morning.

It happened around 2 a.m. Colorado State Patrol says a sedan, heading northbound on I-25 in Fountain, lost control. The vehicle hit the median and rolled twice, blocking both northbound lanes.

A passenger, 20 year-old Clark Carter of Colorado Springs, in the car and the driver were both killed from injuries received in the crash. C.S.P. withheld the driver's name, pending notification of next-of-kin. The driver, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the sedan.

Three other passengers, 20 year olds Ryan Biddle and Ryan Mitchell-White and 18 year-old Joshua Yates -- all of Colorado Springs, were uninjured.

C.S.P. says alcohol and drug use are being investigated as factors to the crash. Seatbelt use is also being investigated.

I-25 has since been reopened.
