I-25 & Cimarron rebuild gets $5-million investment

There is a very large down payment on the future of the I-25 & Cimarron interchange through Colorado Springs. Five-million dollars has been approved to create a blueprint for the project. Another 1-million starts the process of land acquisition.

It is a large amount of money giving a strong indication there are intentions of finding the even larger amount needed to reconstruct the interchange. "Then of course comes the big part of trying to come up with the 95-million dollars for this project," said El Paso County Commissioner, Sallie Clark.
