LISIEUX, France (AP) - Edvald Boasson Hagen of Norway has won a rain-splattered sixth stage of the Tour de France, while Thor Hushovd retained the leader's yellow jersey.
The pack battled slippery roads and brisk winds Thursday over the hilly 140-mile ride across northwestern France into Normandy that was suited best for sprinters or breakaway riders.
It's the longest race stage this year.
