Hurricane Paula forms off Honduras

The storm called Paula has become a hurricane off the coast of Honduras and is on its way to brush Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Paula has maximum sustained winds near 75 mph and is moving northwest at 10 mph.
Honduran emergency officials are telling residents along the coast to evacuate low-lying areas and Mexico has issued a hurricane warning. Strong winds and rain battered the Caribbean coast.
Paula is expected to dump 3 to 6 inches of rain in eastern Honduras, the Yucatan Peninsula and northern Belize.
