GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - A hunter who spent almost 30 minutes in the Colorado River after falling through the ice has been rescued.
KKCO-TV in Grand Junction reports (http://bit.ly/107zHtx ) the man broke through the ice around noon Tuesday in Mesa County and held onto the edge of an ice shelf with one leg outside the water while firefighters tried to reach him.
A firefighter eventually swam out to him.
