COLORADO SPRINGS -- The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region has resumed cat adoptions.
The animal shelter was quarantining its felines because of a virus outbreak. After several showed up with a virus that is potentially fatal and harmful to kittens, they stopped cat adoptions and taking in cats.
The non-profit tested all of the cats for the disease before resuming adoptions.
