The Teller County Sheriff's Office is investigating a grisly find close to the Teller County-Fremont County line south of Cripple Creek. On Sunday a hunter reported parts of a human skeleton had been found on County Road 88, commonly known as Shelf Road.

News First 5 was on the scene, along with more than a dozen Sheriff's Office personnel, Search and Rescue and a representative from the Coroner's Office. The hunter said he thought he had found a human skull. After several hours on scene, authorities are not confirming what was found.
