Four people were hurt in a huge fire and explosions Friday evening in the town of Leadville. An old Coca Cola bottling plant was destroyed.
Lake County Sheriff's deputy Steve James says one person was in critical condition.
Steve Garufi of Leadville took photos of the fire and said via Twitter he could hear the loud explosions.
The fire was reported at about 3:11 p.m. At 9:30 fire crews told News First 5's Rob Quirk they finally had control of the situation.
It wasn't immediately known what caused the explosion.
The former Coca-Cola building now included an auto repair shop, a towing company and a masonry business.
Officials closed U.S. Highway 24 about two miles south of town while they battled the fire.
