HUD Secretary will tour Colorado green housing

U.S Housing and Urban Development Secretary will join Colorado elected officials to tour public housing developments in Colorado.
HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan will visit a sustainable mixed-income housing development in Denver Friday morning, which boasts use of solar and geothermal energy. He will be joined by U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet and U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, both Democrats.
Donovan will travel to Greeley to join Gov. Bill Ritter and U.S. Rep. Betsy Markey to tour affordable apartments designed for people with disabilities. They will also hold a panel on low-cost housing in small communities.
