Staying in a hotel is a more pleasant experience than it used to be.
That's according to the latest JD Power report.
After two years of declines, hotel guest satisfaction hit its highest level in the last seven years.
The survey also ranked hotels highest in guest satisfaction in different categories.
Ritz-Carlton was at the top among luxury hotels.
Hyatt Place took first in the upscale category, and Holiday Inn was the favorite among mid-scale full service hotels.
