Hot weekend, a hint of monsoon moisture next week

An isolated thunderstorm in some areas early then clearing skies. We do it all over again tomorrow with morning sun then afternoon clouds with a 20% chance of pm storms. Thunderstorms will produce more wind than rain, and gusty outflow winds could get as strong as 40 to 50 mph. Same pattern again on sunday. Hot with more wind monday and that will enhance fire danger. Monsoon moisture could move in by the middle of next week and provide some relief for firefighters. We'll watch it close and keep you posted.
