It's a hot one today. Highs are in the low 90s for Springs and upper 90s for Pueblo. Along with the heat is plenty of sunshine. But don't be surprised if you do see an isolated shower. This will mainly stay in higher elevations though.
The forecast for Friday through Sunday, calls for slightly cooler temps and more clouds/showers. An area of low pressure will develop near our surface on Friday. This will draw in more moisture, and more humidity for the weekend. It will also lead to scattered showers and t-storms each and every afternoon. As for highs, they'll slowly drop each day, but nothing significant. We'll still be looking at temps within 5 degrees of normal.
Next week we start the week how we end the weekend, but the rain chances will go back down with the temperatures going back up as get into the middle of the week.
Happy Thursday... Meteorologist Valerie Abati
