High-tech security is the weapon of choice for one Colorado Springs family in the fight against crime in their neighborhood.

With rising crime rates in the city- burglary alone up 17% from last year- many are living in fear, but not Amanda Hattaway. "You turn on the news and you cant go a minute without hearing a little girl being followed home, somebody being taken, there was an assault, a lot of bank robberies," Hattaway says.

They're risks she's no longer concerned with after she installed a system in her house complete with cameras and alarms that she can monitor from anywhere in the world using her cell phone. With keypad entryways instead of door locks, sensors on doors and windows, and cameras watching every angle, she's always in the know...and can focus on her three young sons instead of her home's security.
