Home invasion results in arrests in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police have made arrests in connection to a possible home invasion on the 2500 block of Verde Drive early Saturday morning. As officers were responding to the intial call they were advised that the suspects were two males and two females kicked in the front door of an apartment and assaulted a person in the residence.
When officers arrived they observed and made contact with a man and two women matching an aired description of the suspects. Officers then detained those people for questioning which later resulted in their arrest in connection to the assault and break in.
The victim did sustain minor injuries but refused any medical treatment. Upon further investigation it was learned that the victim and suspects were known to one another.
