From 1942 until 1944 a group of teenage boys held prisoner at a Nazi concentration camp in Prague kept a secret journal of poems, essays and artwork. Some 800 pages of the document titled Vedem survived and today they make up the basis for on oratorio written by Colorado Poet Laureate and Colorado College English Professor David Mason and award winning composer Lori Laitman.

The Colorado Springs Children's Chorale will perform Vedem: An Oratorio of the Holocaust tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Shove Chapel, 1010 N. Nevada Avenue on the Colorado College campus. The performance is free and open to the public.

A second performance for local schools will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.
