Hundreds of tiny hockey players converge on Pueblo!
The Pueblo Ice Arena is hosting the Hockey Jamboree, which has brought in 34 teams from all over Colorado and other states.
The teams are made up of kids ages eight and under only, and it's meant to teach them about teamwork.
It also brings a boost to the local economy.
"It brings tons of business to the restaurants, to all the local retailers," said Lynnette Chavez, the director. "I think the hotels are packed with people right now, and it also brings recognition to hockey because I don't think a lot of people know that hockey is around in Pueblo."
The Hockey Jamboree runs through tomorrow.
A reminder, there will be no public skating while the tournament is taking place.
