A homeowners association in Texas is sick of neighbors that don't pick up after their pets, so they are requiring DNA testing for all dogs in the complex.
It affects 31 families at The Pointe condominium complex in south Austin. In an email, the association cited an increase in poop in common areas and has ordered all residents to give a sample of the dogs DNA through its poop. They would use those samples on file to nail down the culprits.
"I don't want to be apart of it, I'm not in it and my little dog isn't in it," said resident, Martha Ross, adding that, "I think it's unfair to push to this point."
The HOA has offered no comment to local media.
