FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - A 69-year-old Fort Collins man has been rescued after he fell on a trail near Fort Collins.

Larimer County Sheriff's Office spokesman John Schulz says the man fell about a mile and a half from the Grey Rock trailhead and injured his leg. The man, who was not identified, was walking with two companions.

It took 14 members of the Search and Rescue Team, as well as help from the Sheriff's Emergency Services unit and Poudre Valley Ambulance, to carry the man out.

He was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was unknown.
