Hiker dies in Aspen

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - A 41-year-old hiker has died after falling off a ridge near Pitkin County's Pyramid Peak.
Sheriff's Deputy Jason Kasper told The Aspen Times the hiker died Saturday but that efforts to recover the man's body were suspended because of unpredictable weather and adverse terrain.
The victim's name wasn't immediately released.
Authorities said the man was climbing at least two peaks in the Thunder Pyramid area near Aspen when he fell off the ridge. A companion was able to climb out and call for help.
