Highway 24 remains CLOSED this morning

Highway 24 is closed again near Manitou Springs due to another mudslide.
The road had reopened to some traffic last night after a slide earlier that evening, but more rain came down triggering another slide.
El Paso County Sheriff's office says the closure affects both directions west of Manitou Springs.
Crews will again tackle the mud in an effort to reopen the road.
