Highway 24 now OPEN

Highway 24 is now open near Manitou Springs. It was closed overnight due to mudslides across the road.
The road had reopened to some traffic last night after a slide earlier in the evening, but more rain came down triggering another slide.
El Paso County Sheriff's office says the closure affected both directions west of Manitou Springs.
Crews worked to tackle the mud overnight.
