Highway 115 construction near Fort Carson's Gate 5 halfway complete

"In your Neighborhood" tonight a major Construction project on Highway 115, near Fort Carson is half way near completion. Construction crews are working to widen Highway 115 from two lanes to four.
The work is taking place near Gate 5 at Fort Carson and stretches for about one mile.
The goal is to improve merging capabilities between the highway, Gate 5, and Pine Oaks Drive.
A CDOT spokesperson says the project is 50 to 60 percent complete and should be done by the middle part of October.
