High speed chase ends in crash

A high speed chase ends with a head on crash. It happened around 7 o'clock on Garden of the Gods, just west of I-25.
Police tell News First at the the scene that they were chasing a suspected drunk driver. They say the driver of the white pick-up truck hit two cars on Academy.
Police were about to call off the pursuit when he jumped the median and hit that car head-on.
One person in that car has a broken ankle. The driver of the truck wasn't hurt.
