DENVER (AP) - The Legislature has finished work and the bills have been passed. That means it's time for Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper to tour the state signing bills into law to highlight the news laws he wants to draw public attention to.
The tour starts Saturday afternoon in Poncha Springs, where Hickenlooper will sign a financing bill related to public schools at the Chaffee County Fairground.
On Sunday, Hickenlooper heads to Alamosa to make the name change from Adams State College to Adams State University official. He's also going to sign water projects into law in South Ford.
The bills tour continues next week. Hickenlooper planned to sign bills in Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs on Monday. On Tuesday, he's scheduled to sign bills into law in Fort Collins and Greeley.
