Henry nabs RMAC Pitcher of the Week honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - (GoThunderWolves.com - March 25, 2014) - After throwing a five-hit shutout win against New Mexico Highlands, CSU-Pueblo junior hurler Kelli Henry (Jr., Monument, Colo.) has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week announced Tuesday.

Henry, who pitched her second shutout of the season, went six innings, giving up zero runs on just five hits in the 8-0 victory. She also struck out seven Cowgirl hitters.

Currently third in the conference with an ERA of 3.32, Henry is also in the top three in conference for opposing batting average at .271.

The honor marks the first of the season for Henry.

Henry and the Pack will hit the road this weekend when they travel to Grand Junction, Colo. to play in a pod style series with Regis and Colorado Mesa beginning Saturday afternoon.
