Our Local Red Cross is working to help victims from a string of deadly twisters.
Severe weather hit the Northern Alabama town of Athens late today, at least three people were killed, but the toll could rise
This deadly tornado outbreak began over the weekend. At least 15 others were killed in Sunday's storms and there could be more. Not everyone is accounted for.
Warning sirens went off in seven states over the weekend, from Nebraska and Iowa and down into Mississippi.
The National Weather Service says, In Arkansas alone, the twisters left a path of destruction more than one hundred miles long. Many lost everything.
Here in Southern Colorado, Red Cross "go teams" are waiting for word to head out and help in the disaster zones.
