The community is coming together to help out victims of the Wetmore Fire.
The local 4-H club is hosting a chili dinner on Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm. It's at the Wetmore Community Building. They'll have chili and a silent auction. Donations for fire victims will be taken.
The Wetmore fire began on Tuesday, October 23rd. It burned about 2,000 acres in Custer and Pueblo counties. 15 homes were destroyed, but luckily there were no injuries. The fire was declared fully contained on Monday, October 29th.
