People in Pueblo have a chance to drop off donations to Haiti relief at a convenient location Saturday. American Red Cross volunteers and staff with be taking monetary donations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pueblo Records and Tapes, 1112 S. Pueblo Boulevard.
Red Cross asks that checks be made out to American Red Cross IRF (International Relief Fund). Those unable to drop off donations at this time can mail or drop off a donation at the local Red Cross office at, 4104 Outlook Blvd., Suite 135D, Pueblo, CO 81008 or call the office with credit card donations at (719) 561-2614.
Donations can also be made to the American Red Cross International Response Fund at www.redcross.org or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS. The Red Cross is also receiving money through a third-party mobile fundraising effort in which mobile donors can text "Haiti" to 90999 to send a $10 donation to the Red Cross.
