LONDON (AP) - The snow is melting away in much of London, but operators of the world's busiest international airport say full service won't be restored until Thursday.
Stranded passengers have been camping out on the floor of Heathrow Airport, still hoping for a flight home before Christmas. Britain's prime minister offered to put troops on snow-clearing duty at the airport, but Heathrow officials say that's not necessary.
Cold and snowy weather has grounded flights across Europe.
