Health Department investigates illness at conference center

The El Paso County Health Department is investigating an illness that sickened people who have been at the LaForet Conference Center in Black Forest.
Susan Whelan from the Health Department says they were notified about the illnesses Thursday. It is gastrointestinal in nature. The Health Department is working to implement "control measures." But the cause and source are unknown. It may or may not be related to food.
So far we do not know how many people might be effected.
