EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Amy Hastings won the women's 10,000 meters in 31 minutes, 58.36 seconds at the U.S. track trials Friday night to earn a spot on the Olympic team.
Natosha Rogers of Texas A&M finished second in a personal-best 31:59.21 and Shalane Flanagan was third in 31:59.69.
Flanagan, who will run the marathon at the London Games, has said she will not run in another event. Rogers, meanwhile, does not have the "A'' standard of 31:45.00 and doesn't qualify for the team.
As a result, the remaining two spots on the U.S. team will go to fourth-place finisher Lisa Uhl (32:03.46) and seventh-place finisher Janet Bawcom (32:17.06) who have the "A'' standard along with Hastings.
