DENVER (AP) - An unchecked handgun discharged early Sunday at Denver International Airport.
Denver Police say they were called to the baggage scanning area at about 6:45 a.m. after an undeclared handgun was found in a bag at check-in.
The Denver Post reports that police said in a news release they cleared the firearm and the firearm
discharged "into a barrel designed for this purpose."
There was no report of injuries. Police were investigating.
