You may remember the Thomas family. We first spoke to them 6 weeks ago after they were finally able to bring home their adopted son Jeffry from Haiti. Already you'd think he's always been part of the family. "You would never know that he hasn't been in our family for the past 2 years." says Ryan, Jeffry's dad, "It's amazing."
Jeffry, who just turned two, has already shown his true colors to his new family. "He is just a ray of sunshine." says mom Naomi, "He always has a smile on his face and he's just hilarious." He's become especially close with his new siblings. "You would never know that they've only known each other for 6 weeks because they just interact so well. He's just such a big part of things!" says Ryan.
And only six weeks in to his new life, Jeffry has already captured the hearts of all around him. "Everyone is just so in love with him." says Naomi, "They can't believe that he's here. He's just loved!" The Thomas' still have some red tape to go though as far the final adoption is concerned. Jeffry was allowed to come here much quicker because of the earthquake. of course we'll keep you posted on when he officially becomes an American citizen.
