Haggards starting new church in Colorado Springs

Ted and Gayle Haggard announced Wednesday morning that they are starting a new church in Colorado Springs. The new church will be called St. James, named for the Book of James in the Bible, which emphasizes faith with works.
"I don't expect to have another megachurch...helping one is better than helping none," said Haggard.
The Haggards will have a "launch party" for the new church at their home this Sunday.
Haggard says he doesn't want to be a political activist, but everyone is welcome at the church-heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual. However, as a Bible-based church, marriages will be performed between a man and a woman.
In addition to a mob of local media, a production company was on hand shooting for a possible documentary. Haggard says a new documentary is not a certainty at this time.
