BROOMFIELD, Colo. (AP) - A Houston man who was a gymnastics coach in Colorado is facing charges including sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
Prosecutors said Wednesday that Robert Edward Barke is due to be arraigned June 20 in Broomfield County, Colorado.
Prosecutors allege he sexually assaulted two boys between 2004 and 2007 while he was their gymnastics coach in Broomfield. The boys were ages 12 and 14 when the alleged assaults began.
Barke is free on a $100,000 bond. He has an unlisted phone number and couldn't be reached for comment.
He previously was a gymnastics coach in Grand Junction, Colo.
