Guilty on All Counts in death of local mother and son

A guilty verdict this evening, against the El Paso County woman accused in a deadly drunk driving crash in Peyton, that killed a mother and her daughter.

Nicole Enderle's minivan with her two young children inside, was hit at the intersection of Judge Orr Road and Log Road, last July.
Enderle and her 3 year old son Alexander were killed in the accident.
Her 2 year old daughter, Zoe survived.

31 year old Arica Vlach was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide, driving without insurance and having an open container of alcohol in her car.

State troopers say she ran a stop sign, hitting the families minivan.

Testimony was presented in the case that indicated Vlach was nearly 4 times the legal limit of 0.08 grams of alcohol/100 mL of blood , when she ran through a stop sign at a speed of between 70-75 miles per hour, striking a Chrysler Van carrying the Enderle family.

She was convicted of all charges against her, including vehicular homicide and DUI.

A sentencing hearing is set for early August 9th at the El Paso County Courthouse.
