If you watch birds flying overhead, but have no idea what they are--here's your chance to learn about birds of the Pikes Peak region.
Naturalists at Cheyenne Mountain State Park are leading a Guided Bird Walk Wednesday morning. You'll observe, identify, and record both resident and migratory bird species. It's recommended that you bring binoculars and water. No birding experience is necessary.
Meet at the Visitor Center Parking Lot at 9 am. The Park entrance is directly across from Gate 1 at Fort Carson on Highway 115.
Have $6 exact change, if you need to purchase a daily State Parks pass. Free to Annual Pass holders.
