Summer is here, the weather is gorgeous and here's a great chance to get out and enjoy nature.
Cheyenne Mountain State Park will hold Guided Bird Walks every Wednesday morning in June. You'll learn how to identify both resident and migratory birds. Your stroll will take you through fields and forest habitats.
Both binoculars and a water bottle are recommended.
The hikes begins at 8 am. Meet at the Visitor Center Parking Lot.
If you don't have an annual parks pass, bring $6 in exact change for a day pass.
