GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - University of Northern Colorado officials and Greeley police are investigating following the death of a student who jumped from the second story of a fraternity house.

The Greeley Tribune reported that 19-year-old Ross Higuchi died from severe head injuries Tuesday night. Police officers say they found Higuchi lying beneath a balcony outside a fraternity house early Saturday morning. They said it appears he got into an argument and intentionally jumped over the balcony's railing. Police say they're looking into how underage students were provided alcohol at a party at the house. Members of the fraternity have told officers party goers had been asked to bring their own liquor.

Officials say Higuchi had been drinking heavily. A toxicology report is pending.
