Great White Shark circles California surfer

A California surfer recorded a close encounter with a Great White shark on Tuesday.
Chuck Patterson got a rare look at the Great White off the coast of San Onofre.
He told NBC News he was on his board when a shark circled him for about 15 minutes.
He recorded the experience and posted it on the web.
Chuck's images show the shark coming right up to him and then heading out to sea.
He considered it all part of the surfing experience and has no plans to quit surfing, although he did admit to some jangled nerves.
