Happy Mother's Day!
The weather looks great for any outdoor plans today thanks to a ridge of high pressure over the Rocky Mountain region. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies plus above average highs in the 70s/80s. A stray shower or storm is possible though over the mountains this afternoon. This includes Teller County.
Temperatures will warm into the 80s/90s across the Front Range and Southeastern Plains for the start of the workweek. The next chance for showers and storms across Southern Colorado arrives Tuesday with a few more showers and storms possible for the mountains into Wednesday.
The second half of the week looks mainly dry for now with the mild temperatures sticking around into next weekend.
Have a great day!
