A Cog Railway train is trapped on Pikes Peak by a grass fire and a downed power line just outside of Manitou Springs. The power line has fallen across the track sparking about a half-dozen fires in remote terrain. The train will not be allowed to return to the station until the power line is removed and the fire department determines there's no threat to the train.

Firefighters from Manitou Springs Fire Dept., Colorado Springs Fire Dept., and El Paso County attacked the flames. Colorado Springs Utilities and other agencies are also at the scene.

No injuries have been reported.

The fire was just-up from the station in Manitou Springs.

As a precaution, all trains have been canceled for the rest of the day, the incline has been closed to hikers and Ruxton Ave. is blocked-off for emergency workers.
