GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - A Grand Junction businessman is facing a 30-month jail sentence in connection with a plan to sell firearms to drug cartels in Mexico.
Authorities say Miguel Reyes-Robles delivered the weapons to an undercover customer, who reported the plan.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (http://tinyurl.com/cws5eww ), Reyes-Robles pleaded guilty to gun violations.
Reyes-Robles was sentenced to serve a 30-month sentence in federal prison after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors. Reyes-Robles remains free pending an order that he report to prison.
