Governor orders flags to half staff tomorrow to honor police officer

Gov. John Hickenlooper today ordered flags be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide on Tuesday, in honor of Colorado Springs Police Officer Matthew Tyner.
Tyner died on July 24 in the line of duty in Colorado Springs when his police motorcycle hit the side of a truck. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at New Life Church, 11025 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs.
